Senior Full Stack Engineer
GymKeeper is the system a gym runs on all day: the till at the desk, the door that opens on a phone, the invoices that go out at the start of the month. You would work across all of it, on a small team where the person who writes a feature is the person who hears about it from the gym that uses it.
What you'll do
- Build features end to end — Laravel and PHP on the server, Vue 3 on the screen
- Work in a multi-tenant system where every gym has its own database
- Take a problem from a customer's phone call to something shipped
- Keep a long-lived codebase working: new code beside legacy, neither one abandoned
- Own what you ship, including the day it misbehaves
What we're looking for
- Several years writing production PHP and JavaScript
- Comfortable with SQL — not just an ORM
- You are not allergic to legacy, because every line you write is tomorrow's legacy.
- Clear written communication: the team is small and mostly asynchronous
- Enough care to test the thing before a gym does
Nice to have
- Laravel and Vue 3 specifically
- Payment integrations, or hardware that has to work at a busy desk
- Finnish or Swedish, though the work is done in English
